Project Description

The Pasabandar Desalination Plant is a 4000 cubic meters per day seawater reverse osmosis desalination plant. The plant is located in Sand-e Mir Suiyan rural district, Dashtiari district, Chabahar county, Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Desalination has evolved into a desirable water supply alternative by tapping the largest reservoir in the world - the Gulf of Oman. A 15-year Water Purchase Agreement is signed for 15 years of the entire output of the plant. The plant has been delivering water since 2016.
